Rust Bucket Rally 2017 - Day One Done 
After 3 hours sleep & bleary eyed, we left The Borough in Convoy for Dover! We lost one Rust Bucket along the way to an engine fire but all the others made to Calais!
We then headed to Reims Circuit for a pitstop, before the 6.5 hour journey across Northern France to Lusanne in Switzerland. The views along the way were absolutely incredible. Our £500 cars seem to be handling the the trip extremely well, other than our convertible roof mechanism breaking meaning we've not only enjoyed blistering sun, we endured torrential rain (and a cheeky shower!)
Big up to Myles Reid-Smith for our Walkie Talkies... The trip wouldn't be the same without them! 
We made it to our hotel about 7pm before a few beers and a well earned sleep.
On to day 2 - Lake Geneva, Italy and on to Barcelona
